Viv Brownrigg is a Chartered Accountant and commenced sole practice in Te Puke in 1994, developing her small sole practice into a $ 2 m , 3 partner business, and completing her succession plan in 2010. She remains a director in that business. In 2002, recognising a need in the industry for systemisation, Viv founded Business Fitness NZ. Some 9 years later, Business fitness provides process driven content to just on 400 NZ accounting firms. Recently Viv sold Business Fitness to CCH New Zealand, part of an international publishing empire. She has been retained in a consultancy role as their chief industry advisor. Viv also coaches and mentors a number of accounting businesses, using accountability group and one on one methodology and is also author of the biggest NZ benchmarking survey for the accounting industry, the Good, the Bad and the Ugly. |
